If you are brand new to playing the bagpipe, then you'll be interested in our "Bagpipes For Beginners Class". In this program, you will learn to :
- read music
- read rhythm
and to play the tunes of the bagpipe like:
- Amazing Grace
- Scotland the Brave.
The beginning program is a 3 month program. The cost is $299 which includes a practice chanter and book. After the beginning program, it would be $75 per month for ongoing group instruction. You don't need to buy a set of bagpipes to start the program.
If you have some experience and need help getting up to speed, you might consider joining the Bagpipes For Beginners Class. We will take you from where you are and move you forward. The program is $75 per month.
To play in the bagpipe ensemble, you only need to play the tunes on the list:
- Scots Wha Hae
- Amazing Grace
- The Blue Bells of Scotland
- Bonnie Prince Charlie
- Scotland the Brave
- The Rowan Tree
- Wings
The only rule is "no faking". You can play with us until you run out of tunes. The goal is always to stay longer and play longer. This is a partial list. The goal is to be able to play the tunes on the Pipe Band Association's Mass Band Tune List. The ensemble program is $40 per month.
